Donation and Refund Policy

How to donate

Donations of any size are welcome. Use the Donate page to scan the QR code or press the Donate with Razorpay button. You pay on Razorpay’s secure page. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Your receipt

Razorpay emails a payment receipt to the email address you enter. If you need an acknowledgement from the society, please write to us with your name and your Razorpay payment reference, and we will review your request.

Tax note

Manav Vikas Sansthan holds provisional approval under Section 80G of the Income-tax Act, granted on 28 April 2025 (URN AAOAM9333RF20251) and valid from assessment year 2026-27 to 2028-29. Whether a donation qualifies for a deduction depends on your situation and the law in force. We do not promise any deduction. Please check with your tax advisor.

Refunds

Donations are voluntary gifts and are generally not refundable. If a payment was made in error, for example you were charged twice or for the wrong amount, please write to us as soon as possible with your name, the date, the amount and your Razorpay payment reference. We will review the request and, where a refund is appropriate, ask Razorpay to return the money to your original payment method. How long it takes depends on Razorpay and your bank.

Failed or pending payments

If a payment fails, your bank or Razorpay normally reverses any amount taken. If money left your account and you received no confirmation from Razorpay, please write to us with your payment reference or bank transaction details.
